CACUBO is a volunteer-led association, without paid staff. That means we need you! Not only can you help further CACUBO’s mission as an organization, but you’ll receive valuable off-campus professional development learnings that you can immediately apply back to your job.

These positions are intended to help enrich your career, and augment your institution’s higher education staff development programs. They’re also a great opportunity to network and strengthen your relationships with other members.

COORDINATOR AND ADMINISTRATOR ROLES

  • BEST PRACTICES PROGRAM COORDINATOR (3 year term): This coordinator oversees the Best Practices Program in order to facilitate the sharing of good ideas and new approaches within our membership institutions. You can also volunteer to be a Best Practices Program evaluator.
  • CONTROLLER (3 year term): The CACUBO Controller is appointed by the board of directors and receives direction from the CACUBO Treasurer. The Controller is primarily responsible for maintenance of the organization’s official financial records and the processing of various financial transactions.
  • CPE CERTIFICATES COORDINATOR (3 year term): The CACUBO CPE Certificates Coordinator serves as the liaison between NASBA and CACUBO membership in order to ensure proper recording, processing and certification of CPE credits.
  • DATABASE COORDINATOR (3 year term): The Database Coordinator serves as a liaison between CACUBO and NACUBO by assisting in the maintenance of netFORUM – the CACUBO member database maintained by NACUBO. Additional duties include: generating and defining mailing lists, collecting data for the region, providing data and reports in support of functions, and serving as a liaison with other regional database administrators.
  • REGISTRATION COORDINATOR (3 year term): The Registration Coordinator provides registration support and troubleshooting for all CACUBO professional development events.
  • WEBSITE COORDINATOR (3 year term): The Website Coordinator is responsible for overall content management on the CACUBO website, including keeping the information on the website current and accurate, and supporting the administrative and program efforts of CACUBO.
