CPE Credits

CACUBO’s CPE conferences help our members meet CPE credit requirements with quality, affordable education at in-person and on-line events throughout the year.

EARN CONTINUING PROFESSIONAL EDUCATION CREDITS WITH CACUBO

If you are looking for continuing professional education (CPE) conferences, CACUBO offers many events and development opportunities during the year to fulfill your mandatory educational requirements. We’re committed to providing quality CPE credits at an exceptional value. Through a membership in any of the four regional ACUBOs, you qualify for a reduced registration fee for our CPE-certified events to earn the credits you need to advance your career.

Since 2013, CACUBO has been approved by the National Association of State Boards of Accountancy (NASBA) as a sponsor of continuing professional education on the National Registry of CPE Sponsors. We are currently approved for Group-Live and Group-Internet Based Delivery. State boards of accountancy determine which individual courses meet CPE credit requirements. To ensure CACUBO’s CPE conferences qualify, we maintain a close working relationship with NASBA. Our leadership also has extensive knowledge on NASBA’s CPE credit requirements, so you can be sure you are earning what you need at each CACUBO event.

Our CPE conferences and programming are developed by business officers, for business officers. Together, the CACUBO event planning committees and our CPE Certificates Coordinator ensure that our events help you receive the maximum number of credits possible, so you can satisfy your CPE credit requirements.

Note: In order to receive CPE, participants must scan/sign in within 10 minutes of the beginning of the session and scan/sign out at a break, or at the end of session. Attendees must participate in engagement points throughout the session.

CPE RECORD RETENTION

CACUBO retains the required materials for a minimum of five years as specified by the current Statement of Standards of CPE Programs. To fulfill this requirement, items to be retained include (but are not limited to) records of participation, date and location of presentations, instructor names and credentials, number of CPE credits earned by participants, and results of program evaluations. In addition, we retain copies of program materials, evidence that the program materials were developed and reviewed by qualified parties, and a record of how CPE credits were determined.

CPE CERTIFICATES

CPE certificates will be automatically emailed to attendees approximately two-four weeks after CACUBO programs. If you have not received a copy of your CPE certificate, please contact the event coordinator or [email protected].
