What inspired you to start volunteering with CACUBO?
I was inspired by those I interacted with at the conference.
What is the most rewarding aspect of your volunteer work?
Seeing the attendees enjoy the conference and working with the other volunteers.
What is a memorable experience or story from your time volunteering?
My first experience as a conference volunteer in 2014 was in Kansas City. I was given the responsibility of food and events, and while it was overwhelming, the rest of the group was so supportive, which is why I continued to come back as a volunteer.
What do you enjoy about working in higher education?
Change seems to be constant, which keeps us learning.
What hobbies or interests do you have outside of volunteering?
Traveling, Hiking, and Reading
